Early 2024 is shaping up to be a busy period for Corealis as we plan to attend several key industry events between January and March, taking us on a journey from the West to the East Coast of the U.S.
We started our year with a trip on January 6-7 to Longwood Healthcare Leaders at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. This meeting is attended by leading biopharma CEOs, heads of R&D, top academic researchers and healthcare investors. The event facilitates important discussions with the potential to lead to collaborations which can help accelerate the transformation of new drug discoveries into life-saving medicines.
Next up was J.P. Morgan’s 42nd Annual Healthcare Conference, taking place on January 8-11 at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco. This healthcare investment symposium connects global industry leaders, emerging fast-growth companies, innovative technology creators and members of the investment community. An important event in our calendar, this conference helps us stay abreast of the latest biotech technologies and therapeutic trends. We also hope to learn more from investors about what they will focus on in 2024 and make new connections in both the biotech and investment sectors.
Our next event will be attending and sponsoring Biocom California, Global Life Science Partnering & Investor Conference, taking place February 27-29, at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. Corealis is delighted to have recently joined the organization that for or over 28 years, has helped move the life science industry forward with transformative resources that enable companies to make meaningful connections. Biocom California harnesses the collective power and experience of the most innovative and productive life science clusters in the world, with powerful advocacy and transformative programs to help companies in their quest to improve the human condition.
On March 1st , Corealis will host a lunch and learn at the (MBC Biolabs, 733 Industrial Road, MBC Biolabs, 661 Brittany Avenue, JLABS, San Diego, 3210 Merryfield Row, BioLabs San Diego, 9276 Scranton Road) in San Diego. The objective will be to speak with incubees about the importance of early formulation development, trial appropriate material and how this approach can reduce development cycle times and improve visibility with investors and licensing partners.
Our final event for the first quarter of 2024 is the DCAT Week on March 18-21 at the Hotel Elysée at 60 E 54th St in New York City. This key meeting in the pharma/biopharmaceutical calendar is attended by companies in the manufacturing value chain. A highlight of this event is the annual gala dinner — an industry tradition since 1926! This year’s keynote speaker is none other than Tom Brady. We’ll be among the 2,200 member representatives and guests, hosting a table and embracing the opportunity to network with our peers, customers, suppliers and colleagues. In addition, we will also share a presentation/talk on, “xx.”
